One share, three famous perks. Sixt, Lindt and Swatch reward their holders in kind.
Holder perks are rare in continental Europe, which makes these three stand out. Sixt gives holders a cheaper rental rate. Lindt & Sprüngli gives voting holders a case of chocolate. Swatch Group sends a special-edition watch every year. Each needs only one share. Each proves it in a different way, and two of them only work inside Switzerland.

is enough for each of the three perks
A rate, a gift, a collectible.
| Company | What holders receive | How holders claim and use it |
|---|---|---|
| Sixt SE (~$3.4B) Germany | A shareholder rate of up to 20% off classic Sixt rentals. Holders report 10% to 15% in practice, depending on station, season and car. Not valid on subscriptions, car sharing or rides. | Hold one ordinary or preferred share. Open a Sixt customer account, then email a depot statement with the customer number to Sixt's card team ([email protected]). The rate appears in the account and is selected when booking. Sixt can ask for proof again at any time. Guide · Report |
| Lindt & Sprüngli (~$24.0B) Switzerland | A case of Lindt chocolate, valued at around €300 ($337). | Hold one registered share, entered in the Swiss share register, and vote at the AGM. The case is distributed in Switzerland only, though foreign holders can give a Swiss address. Participation certificates, the cheaper non-voting line, receive no chocolate. One registered share traded at about CHF 87,000 ($106,000) in October 2026. Finanzfluss · Newsbit |
| Swatch Group (~$10.6B) Switzerland | A special-edition Swatch watch, a new design each year, estimated at CHF 60 to 80 ($73 to $98). | Hold the registered share (Swatch Group N), not the bearer share, through a broker that records it in the share register. Return the voting instruction before the deadline. Documents arrive by post in early April and watches ship after the AGM, to Swiss addresses only. Guide |

One share is easy. Proving it is not.
The three programs use three ways of knowing who holds. Sixt asks for a statement. Lindt and Swatch rely on the Swiss share register and a vote, which many international brokers cannot provide.
- 01Statement by emailSixt checks a depot statement once, then adds the rate to the customer account. Simple, manual and hard to keep current.
- 02Register plus voteLindt and Swatch reward registered holders who take part in the AGM. It ties the perk to engagement, and excludes holders whose broker does not register shares.
- 03Swiss delivery onlyLindt's case and Swatch's watch go to Swiss addresses, so foreign holders need a Swiss contact to receive them.
- 04Programs changeCalida replaced its free pyjamas with a voucher in 2025, and holders report Swatch conditions varying by bank. Terms move every year. Finanzfluss
Iconic brands use perks to make holders fans.
The product is the perk
A car, a chocolate case, a watch. Each perk is the brand itself, which is why holders talk about them.
Rewarding the vote
Lindt and Swatch tie the perk to AGM participation, rewarding holders who take part, not only those who hold.
Large companies, tiny cost
Companies worth $3B to $24B run these programs for the price of a gift per holder.
Bounded by borders
Swiss registers and Swiss addresses leave most international holders out.
Checked once, by hand
A statement emailed once, or a register entry a broker may not support. No program sees its holders in real time.
Any broker, any country
Yutai lets listed companies recognise verified holders wherever their shares are held, so a perk like these can reach holders beyond one register and one country.
